The 88th Academy Awards - What will win and what should win?

THE 88TH ACADEMY AWARDS -
WHAT WILL WIN AND WHAT SHOULD WIN?

In the next few hours, the biggest stars of the silver screen will congregate on the hallowed red carpet in Los Angeles, waiting with nervous anticipation to hear whether their countless hours of hard work, gruelling promotional campaigns and shameless back-slapping have paid off or not. Yes, its Oscar night - the most exciting, emotional and controversial night in the awards calendar. But as well as being the mecca for cinephiles and bitchy fashion experts alike, it's also the night that I traditionally put my critical reputation on the line and try to guess which films will pick up one of those coveted gold statues and which ones will return to their multimillion dollar mansions to cry in their espressos.

Unlike previous years, 2016 has actually proved to be an incredibly hard year to predict and while there are some dead locks for Oscar glory, I suspect that there will be a lot of shocked faces in the Dolby Theatre this evening. Will 'The Revenant' take home the big prizes or will the far superior 'Spotlight' defy the odds and come out as top dog? Could the delightful 'Shaun The Sheep Movie' usurp 'Inside Out's already glittering crown. And, most importantly, could 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' become an Oscar winning film? Here are both my hopes and predictions for the 88th Academy Awards:
