Much like 'Surf Nazi's Must Die', 'Teenage Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell', 'Stripper vs. Werewolves' and 'Snakes On A Plane', the best thing about Christopher B. Landon's 'Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse' is the title. Playing like an especially crass episode of 'The Inbetweeners' crossed with Zack Snyder's remake of' 'Dawn Of The Dead', the film tells the story of three socially awkward teenage scouts who must use their combined skills to defeat the zombie hoard that has overwhelmed their hometown. Cue a bunch of gags about boobs, willies and sex mixed with eye-popping gore effects and sometimes downright disgusting moments of undead activity. Those not familiar with the catalogue of recent zombie comedies may get a few guilty laughs from 'Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse' but anyone who has seen either 'Shaun Of The Dead' or the criminally underrated British gem 'Cockneys Vs. Zombies' will find the movie terribly derivative and unoriginal.
