The UK's favourite animated ruminant is given his first big screen outing in 'Shaun The Sheep Movie', a hilarious and quite wonderful stop-motion adventure from the creators of 'Chicken Run', 'The Pirates In An Adventure With Scientists!' and of course, the Academy Award winning duo Wallace & Gromit. Featuring the vocal talents of CBBC's own Mr. Tumble Justin Fletcher, comedian Omid Djalili and show regular John Sparkes, 'Shaun The Sheep Movie' finds Shaun and the rest of his sheep-y friends searching for their beloved farmer owner after a bizarre and quite unexplainable event separates them.

As is the case with any Aardman production, 'Shaun The Sheep Movie' uses incredibly delicate and precise stop motion animation to create instantly lovable and emotionally resonant characters, beautifully realised locations and of course, brilliantly silly slapstick and ingenious 'blink and you'll miss them' sight gags. Shaun himself is a delightfully adorable central focus while his many animal friends are just as charming and as watchable as the next. All in all, 'Shaun The Sheep Movie' is an utter joy to watch from beginning to end and once again, Aardman proves itself to the most reliable animation studio working in cinema today. In a recent poll, Shaun was voted the nations most loved childrens television character and after watching his triumphant cinematic debut, it's not hard to see why.
