It is just over three hours now until Hollywoods finest come out to shine in London's Covent Garden for the annual EE BAFTA awards ceremony. Usually, both the Academy Awards and the BAFTA's can be quite easy to predict, due to stand out movies by prestigious directors. However, this year, many of the main awards have numerous possible contenders and it is almost impossible to guess due to the wide variety, quality and possibly more importantly, the hype of the movies released in 2012.
The nominations that I believe that are of deserving of the awards are not necessarily the movies that I think will win tonight. Therefore I will give both my personal and most probable predictions for the BAFTA's 2013.
* personal winners will be in regular type and most probably winners will be in bold.

Best Actor - Daniel Day Lewis for Lincoln/Daniel Day Lewis
Best Actress - Marion Cotilliard for Rust & Bone/Jessica Chastain for Zero Dark Thirty

While I expect Lincoln to sweep most of the BAFTA's tonight, I think we are in for quite a few surprises and upsets, but we'll have to wait and see. See on the other side.....
